KASHIRA AYERS
Kashira is a proud Los Angeles native with an unwavering commitment to social justice and equity. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she played an instrumental role in organizing the UCSB Demands Team, a group that advocates for increased resources for Black students, faculty, and staff. Community organizing and education continue to be at the heart of Kashira’s work. She later earned her Master of Education in Organizational Leadership from National University, strengthening her ability to create change through education and leadership.
Outside of her professional and academic achievements, Kashira is a devoted mother who treasures spending time with her children. She finds balance and inspiration in the outdoors, where she reconnects with nature and finds moments of peace amidst her busy life. Kashira’s dedication to creating meaningful change is matched only by her love for her family and her belief in the transformative power of community.
